When I was growing up Little House was a big deal. I’m speaking, of course, about the TV adaptation of Little House on the Prairie, the story of a Western family growing up on a farm in Walnut Grove. Every week we’d tune in to watch daughter Laura navigate her way through purity while her farmer “paw” (legendary actor Michael Landon in the iconic role of Charles Ingalls) reminded his brood to mind their ma.

It seems corny today because it seemed corny back then, but that was part of its charm. What the show offered us was a glimpse into an austere way of life, something simple and quaint, untainted by the flashiness and cynicism of the modern world.

When I heard tell of a vendor called Little House of Kratom you can bet your mama’s biscuits I was eager to try their product on for size. Would they be yet another fly-by-night operation using a recognizable moniker to attract unsuspecting Rubes? Or would they be the pure and simple supplier that so many of us have been yearning for?

Let’s face facts: A lot of kratom vendors have fancy websites with slick logos and flashy packaging. But these same dealers are often doing little more with all of their swagger than masking inferior product.

Just because a bag of Mitragyna speciosa tea is glimmering with bright colors and bold fonts doesn’t mean that the contents aren’t weak or even contaminated.

In this review I’ll tell you where Little House stacks up when compared to other brands on the market and why they’re worth looking into.

As it turns out Little House of Vapor & Kratom is not solely a brand but, more prominently, a brick-and-mortar smoke shop. Located in the heart of Oklahoma City, OK, they are a fully stocked apothecary with a tea room and much, much more.

They have garnered a small buy loyal following on social media and support from locals who have called the owner “awesome” and have lavished him with four-star ratings.

They provide detailed information about kratom dosage and recommendations about specific strains. Their kratom tea is said to be legit with at least one reviewer saying, “They have my business for life!”

As I said earlier, they have a wealth of items to choose from, whether you’re on the lookout for cheap dabs, grinders, vape pens or herbs. Green Valley Organics, Krave Bali and Earth Kratom Bali are but a few of the names that have been associated with this seller.

Little House is one of very few smoke shops to remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This makes them the most convenient option for those who want to scratch their speciosa itch any time of the day or night.

If you want to buy kratom locally in Oklahoma City then this is the place to be. They have a better star rating than other local haunts like Earthly Mist and No Rhyme or Reason Kratom Shoppe as well as competitive pricing.

Other sellers in the area maintain costly websites and burn money on marketing. By eschewing this common approach Little House is able to drive down cost and keep their products affordable.

I’ll cop to being more than a little skeptical about these cats, not least because I am notoriously not a fan of smoke shop kratom. That being said, I enjoyed my visit to their shop and would certainly return if I’m in the state again.

They provide customers with a pleasant shopping experience, they never breathe down your neck and they are always happy to help you select a strain. After settling on some Super Green Malay and Red Bentuangie I was astounded when the owner offered me a free sample of White Sumatra and a coupon good towards my next purchase.

You should always be cautious when dealing with third party vendors. It is important to bear in mind that these people are sourcing their kratom from companies at a wholesale price point. In other words, they are typically buying it at a deep discount (see: bulk pricing).

If they are charging an arm and a leg for a few grams then they are undoubtedly price gouging their customers. This is unacceptable to the legions of individuals who are accustomed to procuring their tea from online sellers who offer special deals and promo codes.

Furthermore, you should be on the hunt for packaging that clearly discloses the contents therein. If a one-ounce pouch of kratom powder does not bear proper labeling then you are likely dealing with a sub-par item.

You always want to know that you are purchasing 100% pure, unadulterated powder or capsules. The proprietor of the smoke shop should be able to answer any questions you may have, including whether or not the product in question was tested by a third party laboratory.

If you’ve shopped online then you already know that the top dealers deliver a 30 day money back guarantee. Your local store should do the same. If they have a strict “No Refunds” policy then they aren’t somebody you should give your business to.

Avoid pre-packaged capsules in shrink-wrapped packs, particularly if it’s a two-pack. They are overpriced and likely won’t get the job done.

The best brands clearly state that their contents are not intended for human consumption. Legit sellers are transparent about the fact that their product does not constitute a dietary supplement and has not been approved by the FDA.

If a vendor cannot be honest with you then they aren’t worth the price of admission, so to speak. Enter at your own risk.

Like Little House on the Prairie, Little House Vapor & Kratom is a simple place with fundamental values and good people. Customers who place more value on friendly service and quality herb than they do on flashy packaging and cool designs should be right at home at 800 SE 43rd St in Oklahoma City.
