Njoy Kratom: America’s OG M. Speciosa Specialists [Vendor Review]

I’ve read a lot of jive on the Internet about Njoy Kratom and its many quality blends, but I haven’t seen much that told the honest truth about their products. If you’ve looked up reviews then you already know that bloggers are comparing this brand to a “classic opiate.”

Not only does this lack any basis in truth, but it is potentially damaging for the kratom industry as a whole. As most of you already know, Mitragyna speciosa and its alkaloids have not been approved for medicinal use by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

For this reason, and other obvious ones, it is not only irresponsible but unethical for vendors or reviewers to promote the product as anything other than what it is—a research chemical that also serves as an old school Ayurvedic herb.

To be sure, kratom packs quite the aroma, but to compare it to any form of medical or palliative care would be inaccurate and just plain stupid. As any seasoned kratom user will agree, kratom is beloved because it is its own thing. Period.

This ancient herb from the coffee family of plants has served as a folk medicine in its native Southeast Asia for centuries and endures today because of its wide range of flavonoids and alkaloids, each of which yield a singular experience.

In the interest of reporting on the true nature of Njoy Kratom, I’ve personally sampled five of their products and documented my experience with the same. As you’ll see, this stuff does not benefit from any of the hyperbole or marketing hype that’s been applied to it.

Njoy Kratom is a U.S.-based company with fulfillment centers on both coasts. They specialize in distributing their items to retailers all across America. Their bestselling catalog includes Bali, Red Malay and Maeng Da kratom capsules.

Founded by a collective of botanists and indigenous plantation owners, Njoy’s product line consists exclusively of plant matter from OG (old grown M speciosa trees from Indonesia and surrounding areas).

As a company, they are committed to sustainability and ethical organic farming techniques, taking care to harvest at peak times in the season. Feedback from customers is welcome and contributes to their R & D (Research & Development) efforts.

If you haven’t heard of Njoy Kratom Taffy then you probably haven’t been on the Internet in 2020. This kratom “edible” is the first of its kind to hit the market and it’s every bit as sumptuous as I would have imagined.

While I’m not about to compare it to anything else, I am happy to report that it’s far tastier and more effective than I would have expected. As a matter of fact, I’d say it’s got a far less overwhelming flavor profile than any cannabis consumable I’ve come across and it’s every bit as concentrated as any other form of edible.

This may prove out to be the single best M speciosa application to reach the Western world. In fact, it’s ideal for users who have trouble with the nausea that attends the toss ‘n’ wash method; the juicy flavors (I tried Orange Taffy) cut down on the bitterness in a substantial way.

Njoy Taffy is marketed as a Full Spectrum consumable and it definitely earns the name, packing a versatile alkaloid profile with optimal concentrations of mitragynine, 7-hydroxymitragynine and paynantheine, to name just three.

Each servings consists of 16 grams of kratom tea and a touch of Vitamin C. Unfortunately for those of you with a sweet tooth, this one is not very sugary, but it’s just sweet enough to please those who can’t stand the bitter taste of most powders.

The aroma is bold, citrusy and lightly floral. What’s more, there are only 80 calories in a serving, so each dose is perfect for anyone who’s maintaining a steady diet and exercise routine.

The only drawback to this one is the price—at $9.99 for a 20 gram pack, you’re basically paying half of what you would usually pay for a full 100-200 grams and only getting about four doses. Still, it’s definitely a fine choice for beginners who wish to acclimate to kratom before going whole hog.

After sampling four strains (White, Java Green, Red Malay and Maeng Da) and the Taffy, I’d have to pick Njoy Kratom White Indo and Java Green. As anyone familiar with this blog already knows, I’m in love with green vein kratom, I can’t get enough of it.

Of all the strains that I’ve tried and all the leaf that I’ve had the good fortune to try, both locally and on excursions to distant sources, I have always come back to green veins. I’ve never been brand loyal, but I’ve definitely been strain loyal…until now.

Njoy’s Java Green is the closest thing I tried to my go-to Super Green Malay and it’s a unique one at that. Grown in nutrient-rich volcanic soil, this one hails from the island of Java, adjacent to the Sunda Islands.

Like White Sumatra, Java Green is an invigorating treat, unlocking a wealth of cognitive advantages. IMHO, Java Green is to kratom what the Hennessey Venom GT is to the automobile industry of America—it’s a “fast” strain that had me feeling sharp, focused and motivated for a good four-and-a-half hours.

Like a fine shot of Robusta coffee, Java Green boasts a strong aroma and an extensive duration. The same can be said of their White Indo, an OG Indonesian tea that checks all the boxes in terms of the signature white vein properties; their White Indo is abundant in 7-hydroxymitragynine.

As someone who suffers from Fibromyalgia, I was thrilled to discover a strain that got me through that mid-morning slump where my joints usually begin aching and my back starts acting up.

After brewing 5 grams, I was able to get through my day with a smile on my face and a spring in my step. In these heinous times, there ain’t much more one can ask for.

200 grams of kratom powder starts at an industry high $34.99 with 75 kratom capsules going for $19.99 and 500 grams of powdered tea selling for $49.99.

While $35 is a bit steep for a mere 200 grams, those who wish to buy bulk kratom powder and kratom capsules will be pleased to find that 1,000 grams (a kratom kilo) costs only $99.98 which is an industry low, to be sure.

When compared to your average smoke shop kratom vendor, Njoy Kratom is head and shoulders above their competition. Their price point is more than reasonable when you taste the freshness of their strains and the potency of the same.

I’m always hesitant to go into too much description when it comes to strains since everyone is different, but I can safely say that Njoy White will surely do the trick if you’re someone like me. That is to say, if you are used to an early onset of fatigue or malaise during your work week, you will probably appreciate this tea.
