In the past, I have alerted our readers to the pros and cons of Canopy Botanicals. In my review of this Texas-based kratom vendor, I acknowledged the consumer incentives and deep discounts offered by this brand while noting the suspiciously low price charged for many of their plain leaf strains.

Although my personal experience with this brand has varied wildly, I have become rather enamored of their proprietary blends. Chief among these bold mixtures is Pink Elephant Canopy, an in-house M. speciosa blend that encompasses the best that biak-biak has to offer.

If Pink Kratom has eluded you up until now, allow me to shed some light on what it is and how it might affect you.

WHAT IS PINK KRATOM?

Contrary to what some vendors have suggested, there is no such thing as pink vein kratom. The leaves of the Mitragyna speciosa tree possess central veins which occur naturally in only three colors—green, red and white, respectively.

Despite what some brands have claimed, pink kratom is not one of the many global kratom strains. Instead pink kratom describes any combination of two or more strains of red vein kratom powder and white vein plant matter. These proprietary blends may be composed of anything from Red Bali and White Sumatra to Red Borneo, Red Horn Kratom and White Indo.

In the case of Pink Elephant Canopy, the house blend consists of Red JongKong and White Elephant. These two exotic kratom variants work in conjunction to deliver a full bodied aroma with a wide spectrum of utilities.

Canopy Botanicals’ Pink Elephant Blend may elicit the arousal and sociability of White Elephant while inducing the refreshing exhilaration and clean pick-me-up of Red JongKong. IMHO, this is one of the most exhilarating blends out there and hands down, it’s my favorite stack for social engagement.

Like Canopy Stargazer Blend, this one is vibrant, elucidating and alleviating without the couch lock effect common of strong white kratom combos. It is smooth, pleasant and far less bitter than many similar products.

WHAT’S IT GONNA COST YOU?

You can start small with a 250 gram pouch for $20 or go whole hog with a full kilo for an all-time industry low of $70.00. That’s far less than your average vendor charges for plain leaf, never mind blends or kratom extracts.

The best part is, you can sample each of Canopy’s blends by adding four 250 gram pouches for a four-way split kilo. This enables first-timers to try out each blend until they find the one that suits their needs. In my case, I prefer Pink Elephant Canopy to their other combinations, but others will enjoy their Stargazer Blend for its fast green qualities.

THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING CANOPY KRATOM

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis, Canopy Botanicals is operating at reduced capacity. With increased demand and fewer on-site staff members this means that you can expect some undesirable delays.

The proprietors of Canopy have informed customers of said delays and have asked them to allow five to eight days for delivery via the United States Postal Service. For some of us this is not acceptable, particularly for users who live in remote locations.

If you need your kratom STAT, you’ll want to put your Elephant kratom order on the backburner for now. In the meantime, I have compiled a short list of the top alternatives for Pink Kratom. Each of these brands has been thoroughly vetted and all of them are known for their quality.

  • Happy Hippo Herbals
  • Kratom OG
  • PDO Botanicals AKA Pharmacy Dropout

You may want to consider joining one of the many online kratom forum communities for additional recommendations. There you’ll find plenty of chatter about Pink Elephant kratom effects as well as reviews of Pink Hulu Kratom, Pink Maeng Da, Pink Dragon Kratom and so forth.

There are many blends out there, but not all of them are created equal. Some blends are shoddy at best and dangerous at worst. When shopping for M. speciosa combos, you should always take care to research your vendors.

The best suppliers practice GMP compliance and routinely submit their kratom batches for third party laboratory testing. The most trusted brands on the market are offered by companies that are all too happy to disclose current lab results.

Look for sellers who share detailed information about their strains’ origins and effects. Also keep your eye peeled for affiliation. If a vendor proudly displays good standing with the AKA (American Kratom Association) and other Mitragyna speciosa advocacy groups then you’ll know you’re in good hands.

Naturally, it never hurts to contact watchdog groups directly for confirmation about a seller’s legitimacy (or lack thereof). When it comes to Canopy Botanicals, they may not be the best or the fastest, but they’ve definitely left a lasting vestige on the kratom community.
